Well, another sign that the house is coming together ... I got a phone call today to let me know that next week my counter tops will be installed. Then within one week everything else will be done too.
This would leave the shutters, the marble wall and the glass cabinets.
What is exciting is the commissioned art by Terry Ratliff. He created the most stunning, unique, fresh original painting. He hung it too ... and it looks just grand by the kitchen table.
In other news, I went for a walk. Well, a big walk - through the woods - without seeking for Grandmother - just through Fox Island. Clyde and a friend of mine made a trail a bit more cheerful as we shared conversations. Clyde is great at walking thanks to training he has had at his country home. We saw a gazillion frogs ... kid you not, there was a frog every ten grass blades.
