First - I enjoy the fact this year I spent an evening in a limo with friends tooling around the city, drinking, partying and dancing. A very nice way to have good tidings of cheer.

 

Second - I enjoyed the fact that this year I was able to give support and things to people who really understood the meaning behind the message.

 

Third - I enjoyed the fact my staff worked together as a team to select my gifts. I now have a sign of where to park, better than being told where to go haha.

 

Fourth - the fact that this year I sent out Christmas cards and only offended a few people.

 

Fifth - I appreciate that my Carpenter's Christmas LP, Cassette, 8 Track and now CD have stood the test of time as being my favorite way to feel sappy over music - Merry Christmas Darling.

 

Sixth - I am excited to see the joy in the face of my niece as Christmas unfolds before her eyes.

 

Seventh - the joy I felt when my friend (s) reunited with family. Hearing the tales or seeing it myself was well worth any box of chocolate I could have dribbled out.

 

Eight - the fact that I did not end up in handcuffs after going to the mall and almost going postal on the crazy people who walk and then STOP in the middle of the aisle to talk on their fricken cell phone.

 

Ninth - the fact that I checked my list once and then lost it so then figured I must have not forgot someone. If I did, well, I wish you umm tidings of good cheer too!

 

Tenth - I am glad that I had Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off work. Recharge the batteries.

 

Eleventh - The friends I have made this year - whether dinner club, or others who have turned my life in a new direction, I am blessed. They know who they are and what they have done and what they mean to me

 

Twelfth - The fact that I was able to come up with enough things I was appreciative for to round out this list. Really, though, to the people who made me smile this past week as the countdown to the big ole day took place ... you rock. Whether it was over sushi on Tuesday, strip steak on Monday, donuts on Saturday ... I salute you and wish you the very best!
